School Twinning Initiative at GLS
GEMS Legacy School collaborated with several schools across the world under the GEMS School Twinning Initiative with an aim to make the best of the digital opportunities put forth by the COVID 19 pandemic. The school twinning initiative works at ensuring healthy and productive exchange of ideas that would mutually benefit both the school communities.
With the purpose to build deeper connections contributing to greater cultural and social understanding among the student groups, encourage personal and professional development in the staff while contribute to meaningful use of technology, GLS established strong collaborations with the below schools.
St. Hilda’s, Gold Coast, Australia
Shishuvan, Mumbai, India
Central High International School & Mount View International Primary School, Malawi
DPS, Budgam – J&K, India
The Twinning schools are engaged in several collaborative and sustainability projects with GLS such as the Walk for Water, Plant A Legacy, Monday for Mother Nature, Sustainable Diet Action Research and projects based on EXPO 2020 themes. The collaboration with these schools is constructive and ensures our students get exposure to different cultures and learning approaches and work together to serve the larger global community, thereby preparing them to be responsible global citizens.
