Deputized Supervisor Islamic Education Grades 1 - 5

Ms. Ashba Fatima brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for Islamic Education to GEMS Legacy School. With 10 years of dedicated service in GEMS Legacy School, Ashba has demonstrated unwavering dedication to promoting Islamic values and fostering a strong sense of faith within our school community. She holds Bachelors in B.A, M.B.A, Diploma in Teacher’s Training, B.Ed. and M.Ed. She has completed 3 Islamic Diplomas and pursuing for Master in Islamic Education. She has also studied Teaching with Technology from Oxford University.

With a background in Islamic Studies and a commitment to nurturing the spiritual and intellectual growth of our students, she plays a vital role in shaping an exceptional educational experience. She is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) consecutively for 5 years since 2019. She has done Action-Research for 4 years, and secured 1st runner up and placed 5th position during the years. She has also received BIG IDEA AMAZING Teacher Award and is a certified Apple Teacher.

As the Islamic Education Supervisor, Ms. Ashba takes a visionary approach to Islamic education. She is a true advocate for creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where students not only gain knowledge but also develop a deep understanding of Islamic principles. She believes in instilling core Islamic values within our students, empowering them to embody these principles in their daily lives.

She works closely with the teachers to implement innovative teaching methodologies that inspire critical thinking and personal growth. Beyond the classroom, Ashba is dedicated to building strong connections between the school, parents, and the students and has given Outstanding Islamic Lessons. She regularly organizes workshops, seminars, Exhibitions, Iftar Events, Hajj Events, Competitions and Assemblies. 

Ms. Ashba's dedication to enriching the spiritual and intellectual lives of our students makes her an invaluable asset to the school. We are honored to have her leading our Islamic Education Department.
