Ms. Aya Attia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Teaching Arabic language for Non-Native. Ms. Aya Attia has a cumulative work experience of over 8 years with over 6 years of experience in the field of Education and Communication Skills training. She joined GEMS Legacy School 4 years ago as an Arabic teacher, Arabic coordinator for GR1 in 2020, deputized as Educational Supervisor for in April,2022. She is presently Educational Supervisor – lower primary School (Grade 1,2).
Ms. Aya is an ardent supporter of innovation in education and believes in using technology to its best for providing opportunities to students to adapt 21st century skills. She is strong advocate for enhancing student agency and believes that every child deserves an opportunity to be heard. With this ideology, Ms. Aya has created opportunities for students across the school to voice out their thoughts and express themselves on several occasions.
At GLS, she collaborated with a dedicated team to help develop and apply evidence-based strategies & systems to increase social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students within a positive school culture and climate that promotes risk taking and doing one's best.
Aya’s education, passion and work experience gives her the ability to identify the requirements of students to help develop themselves and achieve goals to their optimum level of performance.
Ms. Aya believes in the power of kindness, she and her family love to spend their holidays back home in Cairo, Egypt where they enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
