Agnideepto holds his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Literature from the University of Calcutta, followed by an M.Phil. degree in Prison Memoirs. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Memoirs and Continental Philosophy, Agnideepto has previously worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English at both college and university levels.
He has a strong publication record and has published his in various international journals and edited volumes, along with extensive presentations at international conferences. His research interests span life writing, disability studies, film studies, environmental humanities, continental philosophy, and South Asian Literature. Beyond academia, Agnideepto is also an avid musician and poet.
